I am 62 years old and have been menopausal for what seems like forever. Due to my condition, I suffer from hot flashes, truncal obesity and general crankiness.
I am a breast cancer survivor (have never really liked that word "survivor" but then again, I guess I am still alive). I had what I refer to as the full-meal deal; mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation.
Nothing I write about is research-based and everything is based purely on our own personal experiences. I hope you will enjoy reading about our family's "adventures" with Riley who is now 28 and has autism as well as a few other "idiosyncrasies".
